Orica Mining Services is Indonesia’s largest blasting service provider and product supply company servicing the extensive Indonesian mining market and Orica is currently the world’s largest supplier of commercial explosives. In Indonesia, PT Orica Mining Services currently seeks experienced and professional personnel to fill in the following position :
Operations Superintendent (Based in Balikpapan)
Requirements:

• Bachelor degree from Engineering, preferably Mining Engineering
• Have 6-8 years experience in Mining industrial and operational.
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Committed to work within the Company standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Business Ethics.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for jointly managing the field Operations (Bulk delivery service) throughout the Nth.  Kalimantan region.
• Responsible for controlling over field resources in Indonesia, with a line accountability for establishment and maintenance of operational standards in all bulk operations
• Ensure plant operations are managed safely, with appropriate risk management techniques being consistently utilised
• Support the regional business by providing effective management of regional operations to agreed service levels. This necessitates a close working relationship and consistent communication Site Supervisors
